 The Sony UPX-C100 Professional Print System is ideal for retailers that want to enter the profitable passport/ID photo market without an excessive up-front cost. It provides a turnkey solution that - from the moment it's installed - allows you to start your own profitable Passport/ID business. The system consists of a digital photo printer reproducing photo-quality prints and a digital still camera, which connect to each other simply via a USB cable. From image-capture to printing, the system is easy to use at every step. With the combination of printer and camera - both of which offer a variety of sophisticated features in their compact bodies, making the UPX-C100 is the simple and effective way to start your own Passport/ID business.
The Sony UPX-C100 is tethered, meaning that the camera must be in its cradle before pictures can be printed.
This camera can be used for passport and identification photos ONLY!
Easy-to-use Operation - from image-capture to printing, the UPX-C100 is very simple to operate. All functions - including image size adjustments - can be performed easily from the digital still camera. Just click the shutter button, review the image on the camera's LCD screen, and then press the PRINT button.
Auto Review - with the Auto Review function of the UPX-C100, the camera automatically displays the captured image on the LCD screen after the shutter button is pressed. The image remains on the screen until you take another photo.
Perfectly Sized Images - in addition to offering four preset frame sizes to choose from, the UPX-C100 system can easily adjust the position of the head and chin lines, as well as the right and left lines, to create a customized frame. This enables you to get the exact size you need every time. The system also supports the latest standard size of Passport Photos.
Easy Color Adjustment - with the color-guide function, the UPX-C100 allows you to make hue, contrast, and tone adjustments easily to enhance the quality of your images.
The Sony UPX-C100 produces sharp, high-resolution, 5 megapixel, images of exceptional quality on three separately sized print media allowing users to create various types of printout, including a combination of 30 different picture sizes. It incorporates modern instant printing technology, dye sublimation, to produce photo-quality prints that offer crisp and vibrant colours with natural, continuous tones.
Color and B&W Printing - the UPX-C100 provides both color and black & white print options for a variety of Passport/ID photo applications.
USB Connectivity - the UPX-C100 is equipped with a USB interface that enables image data to be transferred quickly from the camera to the printer.
Compact Space-Saving Design - the compact design of both the camera and the printer enable the UPX-C100 to fit in even the smallest retail space.
Support for 12 Languages - the UPX-C100 supports the following 12 languages on the camera's LCD screen: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Arabic
Can print pictures in color or black & white.
The UPX-C100 Digital Printing System package includes all* necessary accessories for easy set-up, including PC software, batteries and a battery charger.
