Probably the most essential tool for vehicle wrap installers is their squeegee. It’s a strange tool with a funny name that you’ve probably only heard about when you’re cleaning the window on your car at a gas station. In short, a squeegee is a small, rectangular tool used to press vinyl down to help ensure that it is straight and doesn’t create bumps or bubbles. Additionally, some types of vinyl have special air pockets created in them that allow for the vinyl to “float” on the surface. Once these pockets are pushed down using a squeegee, they pop and adhere securely to the vehicle.
