It's a common question: "What are the correct staples for my Plockmatic bookletmaking machine?" With plenty of choices for staple options such as cartridges and preformed strips, I thought it a good idea to run through the different choices to make it easier when you need replacement staples.
Plockmatic 880001 Staple Cartridge
Our biggest seller by far is a plastic cartridge that inserts into the staple head of the models such as: Plockmatic PL 75, 88, 102, 200 & 2000 Bookletmaking systems, PL91 Corner Stapler, MBM Sprint 5000 bookletmaker and the Xerox ASF92 & ASF135. Each cartridge makes 5000 staples and most machines use 2 at a time.
Plockmatic 760019 Staple Cartridge
These larger cartridges are used in the BM230 and BK5030 bookletmakers. Also containing 5000 staples each, these are also used two cartridges at a time.
Plockmatic 150040 Staple Cartridge
These small, cube-like cartridges are used in the lower volume BM15 bookletmakers and contain 2000 staples each. Again these are also used as a pair, two cartridges at a time.
1/4" Flat Wire Staples
While they look like normal desktop staple bricks/strips, they are actually, very high quality, flat wire staples that are manufacturer approved and guaranteed to work in the following Plockmatic bookeltmakers: PL60, PL61, BM60 and BM61. Packaged 5000 staples per box, these staples are also used in long reach staplers, Rapid 105 electric stapler, Rapid 106 electric stapler, the Bookletmate, the AutoBook bookletmakers.
