When I attended the Consumer Electronics Show held this past January in Las Vegas, there were 3D printers everywhere that I turned. They were definitely one of the most popular items at the show. While I think these devices are pretty darn cool, I never thought we would be selling them at CFS.
Well, now CFS is selling 3D Printers! We have acquired several of these Cube 2nd Generation 3D Printers by Cubify. We will be getting several in each week and listing them in our ebay store. All of them have been pulled from working installations, so they are used - but of the ones we have tested so far they all work and print just fine. Some may be missing a few accessories or consumables, but those can easily be purchased online. These printers which sold for $1299.00 have been replaced by a newer version, but they still work great and can be had for a fraction of the original price!
What is a 3D printer you ask? Well, simply put... it takes a 3D modeled computer file and then begins to construct that object by stacking up thin, melted plastic hairs on top of each other to form shapes. The image shown in the above right is a bracelet being 3D printed.
