Binding screw posts are a very popular choice for several different types of documents, proposals, sample swatch books, scrapbooks and even leather crafting, but there seems to be some uncertainty as to what size hole is best for using them.
The hole size needed for binding with screwposts is the same as standard 3 hole punching for use in 3 ring binders: a hole diameter of 1/4" or 5/16" is perfect. The shaft of the barrel post measures in at 3/16" in diameter and it seats perfectly into those size holes.
There are several solutions to get that hole size, and we recommend the following:

- BEST: Paper Drills
